Brand and Events Coordinator
Salary: £25,000-£27,000
Specialist Environmental Support Services company based in London, Silverdell PLC is recruiting a Brand and Events Coordinator to assist the Group Head of Brand and Corporate Communications. The role demands a graduate who is a confident individual who has a track record in marketing or communications and can apply their communication skills from the outset and is prepared to become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. Superb organisational skills are a must, together with a diligent attitude towards problem solving. The successful candidate will act as brand guardian, must be able to work autonomously and be committed to delivering an effective communications and marketing plan via events, marketing collateral, websites and both internal and external communications.
Competencies
- Ideally a graduate with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a marketing role, someone who can demonstrate their skills, commercial acumen and ability to do the job well from a standing start

Job description
- Reporting into the Group Head of Corporate Communications based in London
- Flexibility to travel to events and Group offices across the UK as necessary (this would be planned in advance)
- Organising (client, distribution, public policy, employee) events on behalf of the Group, for example this will involve:
- Designing invitations
- Organising venue, catering, invitations
- Liaising with all parties
- Organising all marketing materials
- Helping to manage budgets
- Managing diaries
- Responsible for keeping and maintaining the websites so they are up to date and always remain leading edge
- Responsible for working closely with the brand administrators and keeping the companies up to date with relevant marketing collateral and communication templates
- Responsible for and influencing companies to feed in relevant content so that there is a constant flow of news
- Coming up with ideas for new marketing and communications initiatives to develop our marketing and communications capability in order to keep our positioning leading edge
- Diary planning and administrative office duties
- Support role for Head of Corporate Communications on specific Group projects as appropriate
- Coordinating the fund raising team and working with them to put together a fund raising activities
- Find and initiate ways to support better employee engagement across the group (i.e. improved intranet, other communication structure/mechanism)
- Keeping the shared marketing folder user friendly and up to date
- Be the holder of all relevant marketing collateral for the group and make sure it is available to all the companies as fit across the group
